Tales of a Prior World is a musical journey travelling through different cultures and times, like a score to an imaginary film, living at the border between New Age and Jazz. Inspired by the modal fusion jazz of Miles Davis and John McLaughlin as well as ambient pioneers Brian Eno, Mark Isham and Bill Laswell, Prior World creates a flowing tapestry of sound, combining electric and acoustic guitars with traditional world percussion and the modern voices of synthesizers and sampling.
